MBM Motorsports plans to be a part of the season opener for the Xfinity Series.
Today on NASCAR SiriusXM’s ‘Front Stretch with Jack Arute’ MBM Motorsports owner Carl Long spoke on the program to discuss the plan for their Xfinity Program. I a somewhat surprising move, Long announced that they are going to run Chevrolet for the ‘Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300’ at Daytona International Speedway.
‘When you look over the past at what performs the best at Daytona and restrictor-plate races, Chevrolet has just seemed to kick our butts.’ said Long. He also mentioned that MBM had purchased a car from JTG Daugherty Racing that Stenhouse won the 500 pole with last season as well as leasing an engine from Hendrick Motorsports.
Long also announced that long-time MBM driver Timmy Hill will also be behind the will of the no. 66 machine.
