Today, Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) and Jeffery Earnhardt are teaming up for 2022.

Earnhardt will pilot the no. 26 Toyota Supra for a select amount of races in the 2022 Xfinity Series season. Forever Lawn will follow Earnhardt from JD Motorsports and join in on the partnership.

Last year, in 29 starts in the Xfinity Series, Earnhardt completed 4430 laps with an average start of 27.9 and an average finish of 25.9. He (Earnhardt) had three DNQs last season driving for JD Motorsports with Garry Keller. His best finish was 18th at the race at Dover.

SHR has had a busy week with new drivers as they announced earlier this week that Ryan Truex would join the team in the no. 26 Supra in the ‘Beef. It’s Whats for Dinner’ 300 at Daytona International Speedway in February.

Earnhardt’s 2022 race schedule will be released at a later date.
